Having worked with autism in a variety of capacities since 1999, she knows it’s all about producing great outcomes for the individuals and families we serve at here at GBC Autism Services. That means staying on the cutting edge of best practices. Stephanie currently serves as a commissioner on the Behavioral Health Center for Excellence’s American National Standards Institute (ANSI) commission, which involves working alongside some of the nation’s top leaders in ABA to set the standards of best practice. Stephanie served on the board for the Illinois Association for Behavior Analysis and created the Insurance Task Force which resulted in strong relationships being built between providers and insurance companies in the state of Illinois.
Collaboration with other professionals is one of her top values, because she recognizes that we are better together and it’s the only way to meet the growing need for autism services. That is why Stephanie made sure that GBC Autism Services was an active member of the Council for Autism Service Providers, a founding member of the Illinois Autism Insurance Coalition, and an accredited provider by the Behavioral Health Center of Excellence.
Stephanie received her master’s degree from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and is a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program and the Women’s Entrepreneurial program at Cornell. Advocacy is crucial for the growing field of ABA and for small businesses, which is why she has participated in several Capitol Hill days to advocate for policy change. She applies the science of ABA and Organizational Behavior Management to running GBC Autism Services, and prides herself on cultivating an excellent work environment for her team. Stephanie is all about applying her professional training and experience to offer the best opportunity to transform lives.
