Romeoville was one of many towns created on either side of the Illinois – Michigan Canal in the 1830s as the canal was being built. The town was first called Romeo after the Shakespearean hero. The town’s name changed to Romeoville on January 19, 1895, and two days later Romeoville was proclaimed a village. Later that year the first village hall was built. Today Romeoville’s economy is diverse with employers ranging from Amazon and Walmart down to numerous small businesses.

Since we opened in 2014 our mission has been to help children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) lead fulfilling and independent lives. We do that by offering services to families in Romeoville based on the principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA). Every element of what we do is tailored for each child and family based on their specific needs and strengths. There’s no one-size-fits-all with us!
Our in-home ABA therapy for autism programs start with talking to you – what’s been happening at home, what you are seeing, and what you think. Once we’ve talked and set up the logistics, we’ll customize a program for your child. Your child’s program will have a custom blend of strategies for skill acquisition, behavior management, skill natural environment teaching, social skill instruction and structured teaching methods. We’ll focus on the areas your child needs, including:
We’ll also help you and your family with the training you need to make the program a success at home. For more information, go to our in-home ABA therapy for autism page.
We cover everything from your first phone call all the way to the first ABA therapy session:

Our autism educational services include general education, students identified at risk, emotional disturbance, autism spectrum disorder, hearing and visual impairment, and other health impairments.
Autism educational services can improve pre-existing systems or develop entirely new ones. Regardless, our approach is constant – collaboration is the key! By working side-by-side with the district, administrators, teachers, paraprofessionals, and interdisciplinary teams in Romeoville we aim to increase staff competence in improving positive behaviors in all students.
Additionally, we utilize individual educational evaluations, classroom management systems, staff training, and PBIS/MTSS systems-level consultations, to create measurable academic gains for all students. For more information please go to our autism educational services page.
